"Its time to rise and shine and make a difference!" - David Morse

Let's work together to make 2012 the year we bring Nova Scotian dogs inside! Let's free them from continuous chaining and penning. PET Projects has been working to address the issue in Southwest Nova Scotia, as well as raise awareness provincially. It is the hope that if we work together, we will be able to facilitate the change in provincial legislation that is required to limit the amount of time dogs can be socially isolated and kept outside. The Facebook group People for Dogs will provide a forum for people to share ideas and post resources such as surveys and petitions, as well as be kept up to date on meetings in your area, and on the progress we are making. You can also email us at peoplefordogs.ns [AT] gmail.com.

Thanks for dropping by Shelburne County's VIRTUAL ANIMAL SHELTER! We are a PARTNERING organization that works with owners and private rescuers to find homes for pets in need. We help by providing access to food, supplies and veterinary care while offering free advertising, ideas and support.
